Considering this clip is from 1994--only 17 years ago--it seems positively prehistoric, as Bryant Gumbel and Katie Couric seem utterly baffled over this whole "internet" idea. Gumbel even seems somehow angry about the whole idea of it...as if it were some wacky, passing "craze" or something! This'll either make you feel really old...or really superior...or...something! And I'm not sure why, but it looks like Bryant got hit in the face with a powderpuff:
This clip was posted on YouTube this week and the poor schmuck at NBC who posted it got canned. NBC said in their official statement on the matter: “The individual in question violated the company’s standards of conduct by repeatedly copying and distributing a variety of materials without permission.”
