Well, it was nice while it lasted. It's almost as if we've been encased in ice for the past 4 months here in New York, starting with the end-all blizzard at Christmas. But today, the outdoor cafes here were packed with happy New Yorkers (and our dear tourists..."Hi tourists!"), eating greasy cheeseburgers to get rid of their St. Patrick's Day hangovers. It'll be back in the 50's for the next week, but this little respite was a very welcomed relief after what seemed like the winter from HELL! I even went and bought a flat of annuals and perked up the balcony. Springtime...bring it on!
