If they were still alive today.....

President Ronald Reagan would have turned 100 years old.

Haven Gillespie, 123, composer of
"You Go To My Head" and "Santa Claus is Coming to Town".

Elmo Lincoln, 122.  He was the first actor to portray "Tarzan" in films.

George Herman "Babe" Ruth would be 116.  An athlete who truly needs no introduction.

Ramon Novarro, 112.  Mexican born "Latin lover" silent film star, in the mold of Rudolph Valentino.  His career dried up soon after the advent of "talkies".  He's remembered mostly today for his grisly murder in 1968 by two hustler brothers in Novarro's Hollywood Hills mansion.

French film director and leader of the French "New Wave"....Francois Truffaut would be 79 today.

Reggae legend Bob Marley would have turned 66.

Christopher Marlowe, 447.  England's foremost Elizabethan tragedian (2nd only to Shakespeare), though his works are rarely performed today.  He was either assassinated, randomly murdered or killed in a bar room fight in 1593 when he was only 29....the cause of his death has been cause for speculation for centuries.

And birthday wishes to the gravely ill, Zsa Zsa Gabor, who turns 94 today.  She was a great beauty with style, and a great sense of humor.  They don't make them like her anymore....

When asked "How many husbands have you had?" she replied, "You mean, other than my own?"
