As usual, I was befuddled by the winning choice at last night's Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show...a Scottish Deerhound named "Hickory". With all the beautiful dogs there, why did they pick this mangy looking beast? Plus, it was clipped within an inch of its life, with a sort of obviously layered shag haircut that looked so overgroomed...yet still somehow sorry-looking.
As always, I was rooting for the Great Pyrenees...now THAT's a fine-looking dog, if you ax me....
